In this episode, Tonia Galati talks to Kevser Kilinc who shares her apprenticeship experience and dispels some of the myths surround this career option.
Kevser works at Redington Limited and joined as an AAT Level 3 Apprentice. She had no background in accounting but, through the leadership through sport and business programme, Kevser worked hard to secure the opportunity, and has now been working as an apprentice for over two years and has also been promoted to an Analyst within the Finance team. Kevser took the apprenticeship route straight after her A Levels (end of 2017) and since then has gained her AAT Level 2 & 3 qualifications and is now studying with ACCA at level 7
